Fukushima(then)Now_After
Over nearly a decade, I returned to the same locations within Fukushima’s radiated zones to document the slow transformation of places marked by the 2011 nuclear disaster. By layering photographs taken years apart, each image becomes a quiet study of time, absence, and resilience—capturing how landscapes change, endure, or are forgotten.

Train
The tracks once twisted by disaster lay still for years—silent rails rusting under the weight of absence. Slowly, they were straightened, rebuilt, and reconnected. Now, a train cuts through the frame—motion returned to a place where time had once stopped.
